Southwestern Wedding Inspiration Theme

This morning we saw a gorg wedding inspiration shoot from Thorne Artistry that’s featured on Weddingchicks.com! We haven’t really seen this idea yet, and we wanted to share the lovely pictures with you–it’s a southwestern wedding theme! We love the chevron details (a really hot trend in decor and menu designs), and the use of succulents (another huge trend in floral designs for home and wedding decor). Another reason why we think you’ll love the southwestern inspiration is because it’s a great interpretation on the rustic/boho/vintage wedding trend that’s been very prominent in wedding themes. The use of ikat, a dying technique on patterned textiles, is a clever way of introducing color into the design without splurging on expensive decor items. Kudos to Thorne Artistry! Last week, Donna Karan released her Resort 2013 fashion collection, and we couldn’t help think, “This is perfect wedding attire!” It is classic, chic, and elegant–appropriate for weddings, formal occasions, bridal showers, and for when you feel like being fancy. Congrats to our June Couple: Nina & Will

We are SO over-the-top excited for this weekend’s gorgeous wedding for Nina & Will! The stunning couple are set to be married this weekend at the world-class Estancia La Jolla. Would you like to hear more about Nina & Will? Story time!

Nina and Will met while they were both working out at the same gym (how cute!). Will proposed to Nina at San Diego Botanic Garden against a breathtaking backdrop of flora. As we started working with the bride, we discovered that Nina, being of Lebanese descent, is a bride who LOVES color. We made sure to mix the perfect colors and accents to produce a dramatic, and one-of-a-kind wedding.
