Drink of the Week – Grapefruit Margarita

Although the weather is still a little chilly, we are already daydreaming of refreshing cocktails for spring weddings. One of the drinks we are currently dreaming of is a grapefruit margarita- delicious and fruity, this cocktail is refreshing and perfect for an outdoor wedding.

The ingredients include the following:

-Wedge of lime

-2 teaspoons coarse margarita salt

-14 ounces ruby red grapefruit juice, with pulp (about 3 medium grapefruits)

-1 ounce lime juice

-5 ounces tequila

-2 ounces triple sec

-4 slices grapefruit or twists

Combine 7 ounces grapefruit juice, one-half ounce lime juice, 2 1/2 ounces tequila and 1 ounce triple sec in a cocktail shaker. Shake over ice until chilled. Strain into two ice-filled, salt-rimmed margarita glasses.

Enjoy at any spring wedding, or any outdoor gathering with friends or family!

Amaretto-Cranberry Kiss

This fusion of amaretto and cranberry create this amazing, popular crowd pleaser. The colorful cocktail balances well to create a smooth, tart and not too sweet taste. Enjoy!

We suggest using this cocktail drink as a signature drink to be served at your fall or winter wedding reception. Since the Amaretto Cranberry Kiss is served in a martini glass, it would fit in perfectly with a sleek, modern winter wedding theme.
