- 1 big splash cranberry juice
- 1 very thin slice jalapeno or serrano pepper
- 1 slice lemon
- 1 slice lime

Memorial Day Weekend 2012 is fast approaching, and for many of us, it’s official-non-official kickoff to summer. Barbeques, parties, beach picnics.. but let’s not forget why we’re celebrating this holiday. Memorial Day reminds us of the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect this country, and make it so wonderful.
There are many ways to honor the holiday, but you can never go wrong with the classic red, white, and blue. From royal to turquoise, you can use different shades of blue in your party decor theme. You can also fuse a bit of vintage classic with some modern elegance with a few select decor items, like pinwheels and glass vases.

Happy miércoles (“Wednesday” in Spanish!), and we have a refreshing cocktail for you inspired by this weekend’s Cinco de Mayo celebrations! Instead of margaritas, we found the perfect summer, tequila-infused drink to host at your next fiesta or reception. Thank you to the mixologists over at Jose Cuervo for creating the “Platino Fresco,” which we Google Translated to mean “Platinum Fresh.”
Platino Fresco

1 oz Jose Cuervo Platino™

Mint leaves
Pink Grapefruit juice
