Glam New Year’s Eve Party Ideas
Happy early New Year’s! If you’re like us, you’re already thinking about how to make your party stand out and sparkle. We love the idea of a glam New Year’s Eve party you can throw for all your close friends and family in the comforts of your own home. Bring Times Square to your living room and dining table
{Memory Jar, Clock Cake, Chandelier, Tablescape, Makeup, Dress, Dessert Table, Star Drinks}
The memory jar or time capsule is a cute idea for both adults and children to take part in! You can include notes through out the year, events, ticket stubs, or even your New Year’s resolutions (to see if you accomplished them or not!) It’s a great alternative to scrapbooking as well. Chandeliers will forever be glamorous in my book–whether antique or dripping in crystals, they just up the glam factor at any event or location in your house. Happy planning and happy new year! Stay fabulous
French Vintage Holiday Party

Last week, Nahid hosted a gorgeous and vintage French inspired dinner party for some of her close lady friends. You’ll see from the pictures the French theme had lavender, white, and hints of salmon colors along with lots of lace touches. It was a very chic take on French living without being obvious–a lovely and easy way to impress your guests!
Just because your theme is French-inspired doesn’t mean your menu has to be the same. Here, guests were treated to Middle Eastern appetizers and entrees.
The teacups and teapots are a really adorable detail! They’re easy to find in either high-end stores or your local antique shop.
And here is Nahid’s daughter, who is lovingly nicknamed her “Little Monster”

Indian Weddings: Sangeet Ceremony

A sangeet is a traditional Hindu Punjabi ceremony held before a baraat. It is considered a ladies-only event, but men can participate if they are close to the bride and groom. The day is filled with dancing, singing, and a joyous celebration of the couple’s relationship. Depending on the size of the sangeet, it can be held in a large venue or at a house. To put it in a more Westernized term, it’s similar to a rehearsal dinner but differs because it’s a grander celebration of the couple’s history and journey towards marriage.

The two pictures above were from a wedding we worked on last year. The theme was a fun luau that had many natural elements in the sangeet decor.
