BRACELETS | The gown does not have to be the only thing that fits the bride perfectly. With Tejani sizeable bracelets, the bride’s arm candy will fit like it was designed for their wrists only.  Tejani bracelets are available in 7 sizes from XXXS-XL. The non openable bangle comes in 5 sizes.  Accessorize your look with their stacked bracelets, statement cuffs or classic pave bangle.

TEJANI: A HERITAGE OF CRAFTSMANSHIP BY DESIGNER URVI TEJANI

“When I started back in 2004, high couture jewelry and accessories were out of reach of most brides, yet the more affordable pieces were unattractive and poor quality,” says Urvi. Since then, Urvi has changed the rules of the game, helping thousands of new brides fulfill their dreams.

The name Tejani translates to “brightness” and “sparkle” in Hindi — a fitting description for this timeless jewelry. Urvi’s proud Indian heritage is inherently featured in every piece. Whether it’s earrings or bangles– her pieces are always suitable for both the Bride and Bridesmaids. Coupled with the collection is Tejani’s stellar level of service offering unique bangle sizing and complimentary expert bridal styling.

The Tejani passion lies in reflecting each and every bride’s individual vision without breaking the bank or compromising style or quality.  All Tejani bracelets are available in several sizes, guaranteed to fit like they were designed for you. Most of their earrings are extremely light in weight with very natural movement.  Add your personal touch to your Tejani jewelry piece by selecting the perfect finish — silver, gold, antique silver or antique gold.  Whether your style is classic, modern, vintage or glam you will find the perfect accessory to compliment your gown and radiate on your special day.

Tejani Bangle Bar continues to garner praise from brides and fashion industry experts across the country. The collection has been featured in Brides magazine, The Knot and Bazaar, Destination Weddings and in O Magazine Oprah Winfrey featured Tejani on her celebrated “O List”.

TYING THE KNOT IN TEJANI | Urvi is passionate about her Tejani Brides and it is reflected in her “Tying the Knot in Tejani” campaign.  The Tejani blog regularly features Real Weddings and images of brides wearing Tejani pieces. They encourage social media interaction through the use of the #TEJANIBRIDE hashtag.

Our insight on fall wedding decor and details has been featured on The Huffington Post!

“Perfect autumn-themed colors are Sangria, Cobalt Blue or Royal Blue, Mauve Mist and Aluminum,” said expert multicultural wedding planner, Nahid Farhound. “Another color hot for fall is Aurora Red, which could be mixed with Cypress and Radiant Orchard. I love the idea of vintage wedding dress and using a colored sash to add a pop of color.”

In addition to using rich hues to offset the fall foliage, Nahid recommends using a wood slice as a wedding guest book as a unique option to the traditional guest book: “You can have it carved with the bride and groom’s names and guests can sign it using a specific pen. The wood adds to the autumn look for a wedding of that season.” -Huffington Post

Summer Wedding Trends

Pastel Wedding Two

Summer wedding trends are different in every culture.  I love seeing the transformations throughout the season, especially in the ethnic cultures.  Planning weddings for different ethnicities allows me to see not only the differences in tradition, but moreso the similarities. Weddings are weddings, no matter the culture.  The traditional value is the same, just executed differently.

Different shades of blue have been very popular throughout this summer season. Pastels are also a huge hit and I have had the opportunity to design and execute weddings with so many beautiful color combinations.  Another trend that has caught my eye has been the vintage look of lace and long sleeve wedding gowns resembling Kate Middleton.  Even through the heat and the sunshine, these gowns give off an extremely elegant look for brides.

Food Trucks are also a big summer wedding trend.  They allow for a more casual wedding feel, and guests seem to really enjoy that! Outdoor receptions with a lot of hanging lighting is a big plus in the summer.  This makes a gorgeous, relaxed outdoor setting under the stars.

Couples have also been using different alternative for flowers and centerpieces.  For example,  lanterns, branches and arches make the reception tables unique and beautiful.

Wedding trends change throughout the season, and being a wedding coordinator allows me to see the transformation of so much beauty throughout the year!

A Park Hyatt Carlsbad Wedding

Wedding-Elegance-by-Nahid-Anna-Gregg-ceremony

Our Persian bride Anna and Western Jewish groom Gregg were both doctors in New York City, only to meet and fall in love in medical school.  Traditional to their cultures and prior to their Park Hyatt Aviara Resort ceremony, the couple was to first meet in a private room with only family members.  The bride, wearing her veil, was to have a different type of “first look” with her soon-to-be husband, as the groom is to remove his bride’s veil to make sure it is the woman he is to marry.  Prior to the Persian-Jewish ceremony there was also a Katuba signing ceremony, a Jewish marriage contract detailing the husband’s responsibility for and to his new wife. The Ketubah includes a declaration of commitment made by the bride and groom, followed by a joint affirmation of the couples’ connection to God, Torah, and the Jewish people.

Anna and Gregg had a gorgeous Jewish wedding ceremony run by their Rabi in the garden area, followed by a relaxing cocktail reception.  After cocktails and the “grand entrance” to the reception, guests  immediately moved into a traditional Persian ceremony.  Following the two traditional ceremonies, the reception incorporated both cultures into the party, including Persian music, Jewish dancing and a bread and wine ceremony.  As tradition has it, Anna remained at Gregg’s right side throughout the reception as the newlywed’s and their guests partied late into the night.

A Bombay Restaurant Wedding

Wedding-Elegance-by-Nahid-Brooke-Aliceon-Photography-Henna

Shannon is American and Sameer is Indian and they made one of the most beautiful couples we know! Sameer was Shannon’s music teacher early on – I guess you could say it was love at first sight for these two.  They had an Indian wedding in Texas prior to this gorgeous affair that included a Puja in the early morning before lunch, a Marriot Barrat and a bold reception full of dinner, dancing and love at Bombay Restaurant.

There was an incredible amount of love in the air and we were more than thrilled to coordinate this stunning Indian wedding ceremony and reception for this amazing couple.  The reception was bright and colorful including lots of red, orange and gold throughout the table decor and floral design by ArtQuest Flowers.  Brooke Aliceon Photography did a great job capturing the details throughout the day and we are so excited to share!
