We love being inspired by other wedding blogs! So every now and then, we feel the strong urge to pass some truly awesome ideas along to you! Today, we saw some really unique, and fun save-the-date ideas from Project Wedding’s blog. Save-the-date cards are a great way to introduce yourselves as a couple to your friends and family. It sets the tone for what your guests can expect at your wedding, and it’s your first milestone as a couple!

Remember, it’s not always about attaching cute objects or trying to spend a lot of money to impress your guests–your save-the-dates should be about showcasing your personality and tastes.

Take these super cute hankerchief save-the-dates from Benign Objects! We love the handmade quality about them–perfect for a vintage-esque wedding.

How amazing is this idea?! It’s so fun and interactive! You can find more at Pounding Millpress.

Our favorite: the tie save-the-date! You can DIY this invite by using iron-on transfers on vintage ties. According to Project Wedding, guests even wore these cute ties to the wedding! Southern Fried Paper produced the adorable and fun confetti save-the-date. We like this one as well because it lets your guests know, “Hey, be prepared because we’re celebrating!”

Every now and then we’ll get emails from brides asking for a vendor referral for invitations, and we always love to recommend and highlight vendors that we’ve worked with. This time, we’re going to highlight Pink Star Design! The owner of Pink Star Design, a San Diego based business, is Jenn Stuart Ragusa, and she is awesome to work with. Pink Star Design has been featured in magazines, and won awards for their printing, design, and calligraphy services.

We “stole” some images of Jenn and her Pink Star Design team’s work to give you a tidbit of how talented they are. They do wonderful menus, invitations, stationary, and much more. Let us know if you did decide to hire Pink Star Design because we do love patting ourselves on the back haha!

The best part is they’re personally handcrafted and because they’re their own boss, you can be sure to get a great deal on them.
