Last week, Donna Karan released her Resort 2013 fashion collection, and we couldn’t help think, “This is perfect wedding attire!” It is classic, chic, and elegant–appropriate for weddings, formal occasions, bridal showers, and for when you feel like being fancy. Some of her looks evoke this idea of a “woman in power” and we are on board with that. We are loving Donna Karan’s Resort 2013 collection.. what do you think?

Last week, our Creative Manager, Buu, had the amazing opportunity to attend WIPA – Wedding Industry Professionals Association marketing seminar at the breathtaking Pelican Hills Resort in Newport Beach, CA. Not only were we able to pick up great tips on how to better reach more beautiful brides (like yourself!), but we were treated to lush scenery, and delicious gourmet that went beyond our expectations. If you’re considering a destination wedding in Orange County or Newport Beach, we highly recommend considering the Pelican Hills Resort!
To give you an idea of how classy the day was, here are snapshots of the WIPA seminar. The theme was an elegant vintage-esque style that paired blush tones like peach and pink, with delicate and clean decor.
Our favorite part of the day? Entering the ballroom and being greeted with this stunner! A hanging wedding cake chandelier! So gorgeous
The florist who created this is Nisie’s Enchanted Florist, while Pelican Hills Resort provided the wedding cake.
We think the elegant vintage look and style would make for a lovely wedding or bridal shower theme. Hope this inspires you!
We simply fell in love with this Style Me Pretty feature on a 50′s Bridal Shower! Themed bridal showers are great, but to have everyone dress up along with the decor is fabulous. We approve of this bridal shower idea because the bride and her guests can get all dolled up and feel extra special and cute. From the swimsuits to the station wagon, all of the details in this bridal party are well-thought out and adorable. Hope you enjoy looking through these pictures as much as we did.
