Pantone recently announced emerald green as their choice for 2013 color of the year. Described as a color that enhances our sense of “well-being, balance, and harmony”, we can’t imagine a better color to be used in upcoming weddings! There are so many ways that brides can incorporate this majestic color into a wedding. While beautiful on its own, emerald green looks great paired with baby pink tones to create a sweet, romantic feel, and also is great when matched with gold hues to give off an elegant, royal ambiance.

Emerald green can be used as a pop of color through accessories like statement earrings, a bold nail polish, or fabulous shoes, or can take center stage as the color of the bridesmaid dresses or the main color in the flower bouquets and centerpieces. There is something timeless about emerald green that would be gorgeous as a main color or accent for weddings anytime of the year. You can also incorporate this color into your daily life through fun nail polish shades or as a bold and fun eye shadow color. We can’t wait to see how brides integrate this gorgeous, rich color into their weddings in 2013!

All White Wedding Inspiration Board

san-diego-destination-wedding-planner-all-white-sparkle-inspiration-board-winter-labor-day

“You’re not supposed to wear white after Labor Day” is the old saying. But if you’re planning to get married during Labor Day weekend or near it, we think you should host an all-white wedding. It’s the perfect way to say “goodbye” to summer and “hello” to fall/winter. All white wedding themes can work any time of the year, but we prefer the end of summer to winter season. You can dress your bridesmaids in flowy chiffon dresses or keep it light in short gowns. If it’s a winter or formal wedding, we suggest throwing in some sparkle and glitter. If it’s an outdoor/summer wedding, then we would incorporate casual and beachy elements.

This inspiration board is fun, but upscale. It’s full of all white wedding gorgeousness!

Adding some simple accent to your decor as to colored lanterns, charger plates, colored napkins, or just colored glassware

Have colored flowers in centerpieces or your bouquet

Or as simple as colored Sachs on white chair, colored ribbon draped on white table cloth, or even colored ribbon for the favor boxes
