As you may know, last week was Bridal Fashion Week or New York International Bridal Week (October 12-15). Famous for their elegant, rich beading, we fell in love with Badgley Mischka’s runway collection. Their Fall 2013 inspiration was drawn from celestial elements. Their 16-piece collection was named after planets, constellations, the Greek alphabet and astrological signs such as “Venus,” “Virgo,” “Eclipse” and “Ariel.” The collection featured both slender and full gowns that were embroidered dramatically along the shoulders, torso and waist. Walking down the aisle in one of these gorgeous dresses ought to make you feel like you’re in heaven!

Vera Wang wasn’t the only person to pick up some non-traditional bridal colors in their spring 2013 collection. This season Oscar de la Renta revealed delicate bridal dresses and designs perfect for your “something blue”! There even was a red dress in the collection–color is definitely in this season. We loved the Spanish inspiration behind the styling of certain looks with the dramatic veil headpieces. Would you rock a blue or red bridal dress?
